1994 Range Rover Classic LWB - Josie

The exterior of this vehicle underwent a full panel-off restoration that meet our Congleton Certified Process standards.  To complement this, we added all new HID projection light bulbs and crystal clear lenses using our Truck-Lite system to project much better than the original equipment. This includes the fog lamps, side markers and rear lighting/lenses as well. Rear louvres and vents have been replaced by our exclusive and handmade Congleton parts. The bumpers, end caps, skirts and crush cans were also fully replaced.    Badging has been updated to the L322 Range Rover Style and our Congleton badging has been added to signify our craftsmanship as well as the time invested into the final product.

The Dark Sable interior is a rare find and unlike the lighter interior, really helps the brand new burled walnut trim pop.  After extensive searching, we found a Land Rover Infotainment kit that features a GPS navigation which fits perfectly into the original dash.   All interior switches, wires and ECU components were replaced while all the remaining hardware was lubed and rebalanced.  The doors, locks and linkages were all serviced.  All window frames, door frames and their seals were replaced.  The sunroof and the surrounding seals have been completely redone and now are fully watertight and operational.

Engine and drivetrain components have been upgraded. It received a 4.6L zero balance stage 2 long block engine that features a new California compliant fuel map and parts that were forged, not cast. It was paired up to a 4 speed dyno tested ZF transmission with a Borg Warner Transfer Box.  A new timing chain, belts, tensioners and plug wires improve idle noise while the new dynamatted firewall and under bonnet insulation aids in temperature management.  The cooling system has been fully upgraded with our Congleton Icebox Radiator, new stand alone oil cooler meant to bring the average temperature below that of the coolant. A water pump and distributor aids in the temperature management and improves how well the upgraded AC runs.  Brake system was upgraded with genuine Land Rover parts including the performance calipers.

This particular example is about as far as we go without it being a fully Certified Congleton Classic.  Short of pulling the body off the frame, components have been sorted and then tested by our trained technicians.  It is an absolute blast to drive and turns heads whether you are at the country club or on the way to hunt quail.
