1983 Volvo 245 DL

This 5-door station wagon hails from California and is undoubtedly the finest example of a 245 you'll find. Meticulously maintained and provided with service records dating back to the original pre-delivery check over. The previous CA owner provided us with all his binders before I moved forward with the purchase. This 245 DL (de Luxe) boasts a range of features that set it apart from other wagons of the era.. 5.5" steel wheels to the chromed roof rack, rear wiper, and quad-round lights replacing the single-round fascia, every detail has been carefully preserved for future enjoyment.

In 2023, the vehicle received further attention with the installation of a new fuel pump, and general fuel system service. The engine sump has been resealed here at CS as well as the transmission sump. Both previous leaks that are now corrected were due to aging of the gaskets. She also got new tie rod ends because we could detect a little searching as she steered down the road. The rear brake calipers have also been removed and replaced during our normal check-over. Taylor, a devoted enthusiast of classic wagons, had intended to keep this gem for himself. However, the dog pack would have quickly ruined it. We think it is best suited as an enjoyable classic for another Volvo lover.
